Hoodoo oils are made from herbs and various oils. Sometimes a stone or mineral is used. Occasionally a recipe may call for sunflower oil or some other common plant based oil. However, most of the time no specific oil is called for. All of Cajun Conjure’s oils have almond oil as a base (unless it is a special order). We use this oil so as to give our oils a longer shelf life (six months to a year).
